Injustice: Gods Among Us - Video Review by IGN (PS3 version)

Batman fighting Deathstroke in the video game Injustice: Gods Among Us

Update - 4/18/13: Producer Hector Sanchez says that a patch is in the works for the Wii U version of the game. Click here for details.

Original Story

As most gamers know, Injustice: Gods Among Us is now available in North America. The game features a number of characters from the DC Comics universe, most notably Batman, Superman, and the Green Lantern. Many of the voice actors who lent their talents to the Justice League animated series have reprised their roles, with a few exceptions such as the Joker, who is not voiced by Mark Hamill.

The reviews are starting to come in and it looks like a pretty solid game. As of this writing, the Xbox 360 version has a Metacritic average of 82% based on 17 critic reviews, while the PS3 is at 77% based on 8 reviews. Oddly, Metacritic doesn't have a single review for the Wii U version yet, but hopefully it will be up to par with the other versions.

There is currently one customer review of the Wii U version on Amazon, but there will surely be more posted in the coming hours and days. You can check out the game's detail page via the following link:

Wii U owners can play entirely on the GamePad thanks to Off-TV Play support, and the touchscreen can also be used to quickly access each character's move list. However, developer NetherRealm has not confirmed that any of the DLC is coming to Nintendo's console, so if you really want the downloadable extras, you may want to pick the game up for a different system. There is a chance that the DLC could eventually find its way to the eShop, but it looks pretty unlikely at this point, so the decision is entirely yours.

Vince Ingenito of IGN has completed his video review of the game, and he seems to have been fairly impressed with the superhero brawler. However, it should be noted that his review is for the PlayStation 3 version. You can watch his review after the break.
