Kung Fu Rabbit - Wii U gameplay footage

Neko Entertainment has announced that the Wii U version of Kung Fu Rabbit is now available on the European eShop with a price point of €4.99. The company has also confirmed that the game will be available in North America on May 2nd and will be priced at $4.99

The 2D platformer is an enhanced port of the popular iOS and Android game which was originally developed by Cazap and Ctools. Neko realized that the mobile title was better suited for a more traditional controller with real buttons and took it upon themselves to bring it to Nintendo's console. It can be played with the GamePad, Wii U Pro Controller, Wii Remote and Classic Controller.

Gamers will play as the titular rabbit who sets out on a mission to rescue his kidnapped bunny pals from Universal Evil, who plans on cooking them for dinner. There is no shortage of action with plenty of perilous jumps, obstacles, and enemies to deal with.

YouTube user NintenDaan already has a copy of Kung Fu Rabbit on his Wii U, and he has created a short video which gives viewers a look at some of the early levels. You can watch it after the break.
